Who am I?

Welcome to my portfolio, where I share my quest to capture the essence and character of individuals through my lens. As a photographer, I have always been drawn to the power of portraiture because it is a way of showcasing a person's unique qualities, conveying their emotions and perhaps telling a story through their light. 

For me, portrait photography is definitely a passion rather than a job. I love the challenge of finding that perfect angle, that natural expression, that perfect moment that truly captures the soul of my subject. Whether it's a spontaneous shot or a staged portrait, I strive to bring out the physical beauty of the individual and create authentic images.

Apart from this passion that I have been pursuing since 2016, I have been studying at different levels and fields. I am currently in Ankara, writing my master's thesis in Geographic Information Systems at METU. I am also studying French Translation and Interpreting at Hacettepe University as a second undergraduate. In other words, I speak enough French to translate this website on my own, a good level of English and enough Spanish to "get my point across". 

I invite you to explore my portfolio and experience the magic of portrait photography and get to know the people in my photographs. Every moment worth recording is a chance for the people who live in the moment. The famous photographer Muhsin Akgün says that photography is ten percent luck.
