I want to welcome you with a rooster and a cat...

The rooster is the 165th photo I took with a professional camera and the cat is the 209th. Zero editing, zero staging. I liked the cat photo so much the that I wasn't surprised that people who looked at my photography for the first time liked it as much as I did (probably out of politeness). For a year I didn't change the fully automatic mode on my camera, I just pointed it at scenes and objects I adored and hit the shutter button.

It will be almost seven and a half years since I took these two photographs. Now I have only a few of these oldest ones left. I didn't know they were destined to be guests of a blog post like this when I would publish a website one day. Each photograph has a unique story built for itself. Even if it's a staged studio shoot, what you go through during that process, the people you meet and get to know, definitely adds something to you and to your art. From time to time, I will be sharing the stories of my photographs and traces they have left in me, whether they are already in my portfolio or not. If you are curious, don't forget to stay tuned!
